lucyna.dev

Small, local-first browser tools.
Private by default. No tracking.
Your files stay on your device.

Musiced for music, Edet for writing, and Clipped for video — each runs entirely in your browser. There is nothing to install, and your files never leave your device unless you ask them to.

Tools

Musiced's library: a grid of albums with cover art and track titles, and a playback bar.

The music library

Musiced

A local music library that lives in your browser.

Import your own audio, build playlists, and listen offline — your library stays on your device. Discovery search across YouTube, iTunes, Deezer, SoundCloud, and Internet Archive links out to the source; lucyna.dev never hosts, streams, or downloads third-party media.

[ Open Musiced ]
Edet's scene board: index cards with titles, synopses, and word counts beside a full manuscript.

The writing app

Edet

A writing app for long fiction that lives in your browser.

Write in chapters and scenes, rearrange them on an index-card board, and keep your characters, places, and plot in one place. It flags repeated words, uneven pacing, and continuity slips; exports to Word, EPUB, or PDF; works offline; and optionally syncs across your devices.

[ Open Edet ]
Clipped's editor: a video on the stage with a seek bar and a marked in/out cut, plus crop controls.

The video editor

Clipped

Trim and crop videos directly in your browser.

Drop in a video, mark the section you want, and export. Trimming is fast and lossless; cropping supports vertical and widescreen formats. Everything runs locally, so your video is never uploaded to lucyna.dev.

[ Open Clipped ]

Why local-first?

Your files stay put

The browser does the work. Your documents, audio, and video live on your device — not on our servers — so nothing is uploaded just to open it.

No tracking

No analytics, no ads, and no account needed to use the tools. An optional Edet account adds cloud sync only if you ask for it.

Works offline

Install lucyna.dev like an app. Once it has loaded, every tool keeps working with no connection at all.
